WAY TO GO, RUBY. WE ARE ALL PROUD OF YOU.
Cathleen: This is a wonderful 11 year old warmblood mare that was bred in Luxembourg. She is actually Hanovarian and Holsteiner. She stands 16'3 and out weighs most of the horses on the farm. She lost her foal this year but she has been bred back and we are hoping for success. Right now she is the regular mount of CWF Student Annabelle Dawidow.
Bring on the Gold (Gold): We are very proud of this TB mare. She belongs to Cyrille Bullock and came to her through a rescue program in Michigan. She is the daughter of the KY Derby winner Strike the Gold. Gold is due to foal any time now (late March 08) She is in foal to Hanoverian stallion Bonheur who is also the stallion that Cathleen is bred to. Allison Bailey has been her regular rider.
Pagasus (Peg): This Arabian mare also belongs to Cyrille. She is 23 years old and the dear buddy of my 29 year old Steven. Pag has been the anchor school horse in my youth training program and Pony Club for many, many years. She has started many kids on their way to wonderful, fun horse careers including my grand daughter, Sierra.
Winglet: Also known as Winkle T to her best friends was born in Greenwood at my former Barry Farm and moved here with us in 2003. Her mother was Coufey, a wonderful TB mare that gave me several babies including the one pictured on the Activities page who looks very similar. That was her last foal and her name is Ella. Wing Ding (Winky) is her full sister. They are both sired by the Hanoverian stallion Weltbekannt. Winglet is schooling 2nd level and is my own project. She is 8 years old.
